Diagnostic Trouble Code

The Diagnostic Trouble Code (DTC) function allows viewing and resetting engine fault codes from car and motorcycle ECUs, introducing diagnostic capabilities, and improving operational efficiency for our customers.

• Error Code Detection and Interpretation: it helps you to quickly identify vehicle problems without the need for additional devices. This feature centralizes the diagnostic process, reducing the time needed to detect faults and increasing work efficiency. You can thus offer a faster and more accurate service to your customers.

• Error Code Reset: it clears error codes from the ECU memory after repairs, ensuring that the vehicle is working properly. This is crucial to ensure that repairs have been performed correctly and that the vehicle no longer shows signs of failure, improving customer satisfaction and reducing returns for further action.

• Pre-Tuning and Post-Tuning Diagnostics: it allows you to evaluate the feasibility of changes before tuning, by displaying any existing errors that could affect the tuning process. After tuning, it checks for new errors to ensure that modifications have not introduced problems. This process ensures that the vehicle is in perfect condition before and after each tuning, minimizing the risks of damage and malfunctions.

• Special Features: it includes specific options for certain vehicle models, such as steering alignment and differential lock/unlock. Supported models are visible within the Alientech Suite software, providing you with an extended range of diagnostics and customization capabilities.

 
The DTC feature will be available only for customers with an active subscription on their KESS3 Master or Slave tool.

The new generation OBD cable that integrates all the communication lines used by the various car manufacturers; this cable, therefore, replaces various wirings that were used by KESSv2; more specifically, it is also able to communicate with Honda, Volvo, Lotus and Toyota.
